Groundwater Sustainability Agency
The Tehama County Flood Control and Water Conservation District has been listed as the Exclusive Groundwater Sustainability Agency (GSA) for the following seven subbasins or the portions of those subbasins located within the County: Bowman, Red Bluff, Corning, Los Molinos, Antelope, Bend, and South Battle Creek (see GSA map) as of February 11, 2016.

GSA Well Registration Program
On June 20, 2022 the Tehama County Flood Control and Water Conservation District Board of Directors adopted Resolution No. 9-2022 setting the annual fee to be charged by the Tehama County Groundwater Sustainability Agency for the administrative costs of the Tehama County Groundwater Sustainability Agency Well Registration Program.
An annual fee of $0.29 per acre for each legal parcel in the Tehama County Groundwater Sustainability Agency will be added to the rolls and collected in the same manner as ordinary ad valorem taxes.

GSA Regulations Governing New and Replacement Wells
On September 19, 2022 the Flood Control and Water Conservation District Board of Directors adopted Resolution No. 11-2022 adopting the Groundwater Sustainability Agency Regulations Governing New and Replacement Wells.
